What prohibition means today

The term “prohibition” was once exclusively associated with the prohibition of alcohol. However, today prohibitionist policies have seeped into many areas of legislation and primarily target the most marginalized populations across the country. Prohibition puts punishment and harsh sentencing above support, treatment, or common-sense solutions. Through hard work of everyday people like you, we can end prohibition once and for all.
